In partnership with our suppliers and developers, my team and I led the development of Reebok’s natural dye palette, turning earth pigments and minerals into custom, seasonal colorways. What started as an experiment became a scalable, sustainable innovation.

No dyes, no waste, just the natural beauty of raw materials. By skipping the dyeing process, we saved water, cut chemicals, and reduced emissions. Working with developers in apparel and footwear, we were able to produce a run of apparel and footwear that displayed the beauty of raw, undyed material and the various shades of greige they created.

Why do clothes bleed in the wash? Oversaturated dyes. They use more chemicals, water, and energy - hurting both garments and the planet. By dialing down saturation, we cut resource use without compromising color. Night Balck is a slightly less intense black that’s cost-neutral, energy-saving, and scalable across the brand’s highest-volume shade.
